Product Description

A high detail reality-based virtual landscape is used for this system. The trainee UAV operator controls the camera of the UAV, while the UAV flies over the landscape. The trainee is presented with images similar to those a real UAV operator would see during a mission. The images may be switched between full color and pseudo InfraRed (black-hot as well as white-hot). This system may be adapted for a specific UAV or Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV).

UAV Base Station (Color)		 This is the pseudo infrared counterpart of the 'uav base station (color)' image. the system may switch between color and infrared images on the fly. The system is in 'white-hot' mode, where warm objects are mapped to the white (light) end of the grayscale spectrum. The vehicle tires are warmer than the environment. Virtual infrared camera scan lines are also superimposed on the image.
