nVisor ST in Use
Dr. Eric Muth, a VIRTE researcher from Clemson University, is shown in one of the VIRTE pods at NRL wearing the nVisor ST Head Mounted Display (HMD) unit. A critical component of this research is studying the use of state of the art Head Mounted Displays (HMDs). HMDs give the participant a much greater sense of immersion into the virtual environment than is possible with a projection system.
