Flow Visualization in an Elbow Duct - 1 A two-dimensional array of flow lines ('3x3 cluster') is activated in an elbow duct fitted with four obstructions (baffles). The flow lines are forward- and backward projected from the release point. Note the eddy currents (turbulence) occurring behind the last obstruction. The walls of the duct are color-mapped to indicate pressure (red=high, blue=low). There are time indexes (black sections) on the flow lines. These indexes are animated. The streamlines are colored by speed.
