Mission Examples: Helicopter Launch
The Mission Examples section of the CBT package contains an animated mission diagram (top), animated mission planning screen (middle-left), animated control panel (centre), animated infrared camera view (middle-right), text box (bottom-left) and a set of play buttons (bottom-right). The trainee may step the mission forward or backward, or it may be cycled. All the relevant parts of the screen are hyperlinked. If, for example, the trainee steps the mission forward, he/she will be able to get a total picture of what is happening with each element of the system, for each step. This promotes holistic (big picture) learning. This screenshot shows a missile being launched from a helicopter, versus a sea target.
