Virtual Aircraft Take-off - View of the Runway
This view shows the runway and some terminal buildings in the background. The viewpoint can be switched between entities (e.g. from the aircraft to the control tower), and it can also be navigated around the selected entity. The ocean (False Bay) can be seen in the background. An interesting perspective may be achieved by comparing this image with the Airspace Visualizer image 'Airspace Control Zones and Beacons (2)', that shows the beacons and glide slopes of Cape Town International Airport, along with some airspace control zones.
